Body Beast Review – Our Pros, Cons and the Final Verdict

body beast review

If you’re looking for a strength building program that’ll keep you going until you reach your goal, look no further than Body Beast. There are no results like Body Beast results, and definitely not for the same price. My biggest issue with workout plans is that you need a gym membership for most of them, and consistently making it to the gym 3 or more times per week for several months just isn’t realistic sometimes - not a problem with this program. In this Body Beast Program review, I’ll explain why it’s so great, and also shed some light on its few drawbacks.

What Makes a Great Program?

Before taking a look at our Body Beast Program review, let’s consider what makes a workout program great. At the bare minimum, any program should provide a detailed workout routine, eating plan, and explanation to back up its methods. Good programs should only incorporate exercises that achieve the plan’s goals efficiently, and should balance intensity with length to get results in a timely manner. They should also be easy to follow. Great programs should also include something to keep you motivated, support, extra information for curious minds, and should have a fair price.

Body Beast Overview

Body Beast is a program offered by Beachbody LLC, a company which has been around since 1998. The company is based in California, and is famous for other home workout products such as Insanity. Body Beast builds off of the success of previous programs, but uses updated methods and simple equipment to make the most out of your effort.

The Body Beast workout pushes you to your limits for less than an hour for 90 days while making sure your body has the ideal nutrients to gain muscle mass. It’s broken up into 3 month-long blocks and features exercises which target specific muscle groups. Exercises in this program either use no equipment or very little equipment, mostly dumbbells. Body Beast was developed by Sagi Kalev, a champion bodybuilder and personal trainer. The total cost of the program is $50, including shipping and handling.

Pros and Cons of Body Beast

Let’s get into the meat of this Body Beast workout plan review! Taking into consideration all of the criteria that makes a workout program great, Body Beast is almost perfect. Its plan is very detailed - each block is broken down in a DVD, and you are given a copy of the full schedule to keep yourself on track with ease. The nutritional plan provided is tailored to meet your needs during each workout, and every workout focuses on the goal of the program - building muscle. Most of the supporting information about Body Beast is available directly on its website, but it also comes with a book by the trainer with extra information and tips.

This program is also a decent length - short enough to keep you interested, but long enough to provide real results safely. You also gain access to forums and support, a mobile app, and a bonus DVD with another type of workout. Finally, the price is perfect, and is comparable to other programs of a similar scope.

There are only two downsides to this program that are even worth mentioning. First: it is not a customized plan, meaning that you will have to tailor it yourself if necessary (i.e. to accommodate allergies in your diet). Second: it uses slightly dodgy tactics to display its price, asking for two payments to reduce the number you see, although it’s easy to add up the total cost.

Beachbody and Body Beast’s Ratings and Awards

Beachbody LLC has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau for over 5 years - a distinction that is hardly necessary given its popularity and proven record:

See What Others Had to Say

Here are some informative Body Beast reviews and testimonials by people who have tried the program or other Beachbody products.

Sage: “I have tried P90X, Insanity and T-25. I believe all of these workouts to be great, but not for me. [...] I saw the Body Beast workout on TV and decided to give it a try. I'm three weeks in and continue to love it. [...] The first time I did the leg workout, muscles I didn't even know I had were sore.” Read the rest here.

New Old Timer: “I'm a 56 yr old man, I work long hours sometimes, and not much time to workout at a crowded gym. Body Beast has provided a complete at home workout that has easily fit into my day.” Read the rest here.

Crystal S.: “What's more important to me is the service I receive and what the company does to fix a mistake when it's made. Over the last year and half I have placed many orders and only had 2 that had an issue. The issues were minor, and were always resolved promptly.” Read the rest here.

What Are You Waiting For?

Hopefully, this Body Beast review has removed any hesitation you had about the program, because it truly is a fantastic one. It’s extremely accessible with little equipment, cheap, and just the right length. If you’re serious about bulking up, I can’t recommend this enough.
