Ultrafire Flashlight Review

Powerful, compact, rugged and reliable, Ultrafire claims that when you buy one, you own the best. But the claim also comes with a couple of warnings. One being the standard 180- day warranty they offer on all their products. While this is good, does it raise a question of “what after?”. The second more specific warning is related to spurious products claiming to be UltraFire sold on a score of websites, some of them being very well known names. This will make you do a double take if you choose to buy an UltraFire flashlight and go through the visible online brand detailing before you make the purchase. Here is a review of top sold Ultrafire flashlights

UltraFire 7w

Ultrafire 7W

This 7w, 300 lumens mini CREE LED flashlight has an adjustable zoom lamp. When the head of the flashlight is put in, the beam stays in focus and pulling it out spreads the beam out of focus. At just 3.7 inches, this pocket size ultra-bright light surprisingly uses just one AA battery. It comes with a skid proof and waterproof design, with the aim to support outdoor activities like camping, cycling and hunting. The light, though, seems to pose a challenge for the less intuitive crowd with changing between the modes not coming as easy as other flashlights. That being said, it is a good flashlight that fits into a glove compartment and can come handy when you need it.

Ultrafire WF-502B

Ultrafire WF-502B

At a power-packed1000 lumens, this compact LED flashlight is competitively priced in its category. It comes with 5 modes – high, medium, low, strobe and SOS, each being activated with a light push of the tail button. The kit from Ultrafire includes two 3.7v batteries and their charger too. The focus, though, cannot be adjusted. The flashlight can work if hosted on an independent 1” mount. This can easily double up to take it for generic everyday lighting needs or specialized needs in the outdoors. The aluminum alloy body and coated glass lens are designed to make the flashlight water proof.

UltraFire CREE 1200 Lumens

Ultrafire CREE 1200 Lumen

This 9.4” super bright flashlight at 1200 lumens and multitude of features makes it among the top sold Ultrafire flashlights. The LED light comes with zoomable focus and five modes making it a great choice for camping, climbing and cycling. The package includes two 3.7 rechargeable 18650 batteries and their two slot charger. The manufacturers do seem to take complaint seriously and provide quick replacements. It comes with a lanyard and clipper for conveniences carry. A word of caution on buying this from only the authentic seller. There are some well-known offenders and you need to act with caution to ensure you are buying original stuff only.

At 1600 lumens, this makes for one bright flashlight! It comes with its sets of regular tools that are best suited for outdoor purposes. It has a simple and easy one button operation to switch between the 5 modes from high to SOS. It has a built-in waterproof design and the LED bulb has a lifespan of 100,000 hours. The package comes with two rechargeable batteries (although you need just one at a time to run the torch) and the 2 slot battery charger. This lets you have one spare battery in case of emergency. Because of these features it’s earned several reviews of being value for money in its category of lights.

UltraFire E17

Ultrafire E17

This is a 2000 lumens, zoomable LED flashlight (although you’ll find quite a bit of people to believe that the LED light is not as bright as the company really claims). That is quite a bit of introduction to it which you’ll need to factor before you can buy it! The flashlight can be stretched to get a desirable focus range. It comes in the standard five modes and can work with just one 3.7v 18650 battery. The package includes the AAA battery holder and 1 battery sleeve. For its price, it can easily make a good value addition in its category and probably be a thing you are going to carry to your next camping.

UltraFire is among the well-known names for flashlights. This is working to both the brand’s advantage and sometimes disadvantage in this case. The multiple sellers on different websites have resulted the brand going down on trust value for quality products. When buying an UltraFire, be sure to double check the source, its review and reputation to provide the actual branded product. But other than this fact, the top sold UltraFire flashlights are a great value for money in their specific category and can make it light in your hand and pocket. Make sure you are using the right batteries to get the lumens promised with the pack.
