No joking, these are the 16 best sales and deals to shop April 1 — some in honor of the annual pranking day and others that just came at the right time.
- Abercrombie & Fitch: Through today, all online clearance is 60% to 70% off.
- Amazon: Visit the April Fools’ Day section to browse discounts on movies, TV, books, music and pranks.
- Bath & Body Works: The sweet-smelling store told its email subscribers that this limited-time deal is no joke: All three-wick candles are two for $24.
- Cheryl’s: Today only, take 21% off regular-priced items sitewide with the code SPRING21.
- Designer Shoe Warehouse: Online only through April 5, save $10 off $74, $25 off $149, or $40 off $199 when you use the code APRILFOOLS.
- Disney Store: Through Sunday, buy one, get one 50% off on select mix-and-match items when you use the code MONSTROUS.
- Guess: Through April 7, shop online and in select Guess stores for major savings. Use the code HELLOAPRIL to take $100 off when you spend $350, $50 off when you spend $200, or $25 off when you spend $125.
- Hot Topic: Today only and online only, save 30% in a flash sale. Some exclusions apply.
- J.C. Penney: Today only and online only, use the code SHOPNOW8 to take an extra 30% off select purchases of $100 or more, an extra 25% off select purchases under $100, or an extra 10% off select watches, salon products, furniture, mattresses and custom blinds and shades.
- Kohl’s: Kohl’s pranked its customers in an email newsletter by saying that everything in the store would be full price today. But customers didn’t need to be worried for too long: The store followed up with a message telling them that using the code SPECIAL15 would snag them an extra 15% off in store and for online purchases through Sunday. Some exclusions apply.
- Krispy Kreme: Score a free original glazed doughnut today at participating Krispy Kreme stores.
- Old Navy: Today and online only, use the code NOTAJOKE to score 41% off any one item, plus 30% off the rest of your order.
- PetSmart: Enjoy an online-only flash sale at PetSmart with 30% off a wide selection of products. No tricks involved.
- Rue21: Today only, shipping is just $1.
- Saks Fifth Avenue: Through Saturday, take 25% off select items with the code JKLOL. This no-joke promotion is available online.
- White House Black Market: For a limited time, save up to 70% in the spring sale.
