Choosing a stroller takes careful thought and consideration — after all, your baby’s safety while you’re out and about is important. We researched some of the most popular models on the market to help you decide.
To narrow down the field, we looked at expert opinions from review sites such as The Sweethome, CNET and Good Housekeeping. We then analyzed user reviews to get their opinions on each stroller’s best and worst attributes.
We recognize that consumers look for different qualities in strollers, so we scored these user observations based on a handful of features, including ease of use, weight, safety and accessories.

If you’re looking for a lightweight stroller, you’ve already narrowed down your desire for a product that’s low in weight and easy to carry and push. But there’s much more than just pounds to consider in your search for the perfect stroller. Use our buying guide to find out which other features you should pay attention to.
Weight
Before you buy, check a stroller’s specifications to see the total product weight and compare it with different models. Don’t forget, if you’ll be placing a car seat in the stroller, you’ll want to account for that added weight as well.
Size
Weight is one thing but size is another. In addition to a stroller’s lightweight design, you’ll want to pay attention to its styling. If you want a stroller that’s easy to manage, you’ll likely want one that isn’t overly large. Consider dimensions such as height (how comfortable the handle is to reach) and width (how easy the stroller is to fit through doorways).
Purpose
Strollers are sold in different designs depending on their intended purpose. If you’ll be using the stroller on trails or uneven terrain, consider one with a strong suspension system. If you want to bring your baby along on workouts, go for a jogger model. And of course, if you have more than one child, there are plenty of double strollers on the market.
Foldability
